Commercial Retail How Hard Is It To Rezone A Residential Property To Commercial Retail/auto Repair Property??

How hard is it to rezone a residential property to commercial retail/auto repair property?? - commercial retail

I am looking for a property that is not residential property very well (at the corner of 2 busy roads) and would like to make a car repair shop. It is difficult to reclassify the property? How long does it take? The hotel is located in DeKalb County, Georgia

You should visit your local planning department. They often have a "matrix zoning" to all types of display areas for the property, then they are "allowed" if a change is required, etc.

Probably not the first person who wanted to open an auto repair shop, and can lead to what parts of the city, over the corresponding zones for the intended purpose and also opportunities, costs and procedures for a change of more or zoning.

The zoning for a single property is determined by their position and will not change unless the new urban area. Check with the office of the city planner. The property is already for the intended use zones. If you do not ask the Board of Zoning Appeals for zoning variance or special permit. But be prepared. Once this process must be carried out until the end. If you are dropping the ball is not approved.
